The terms of our warranty are outlined in detail below. However, we realize it's pretty
wordy—so we've included a simplified summary of each paragraph for your reference.
Please
note that the summary does not replace the terms below. It's simply an attempt to make
sure
the terms are understood clearly.
Section 1 - Warranty coverage
We certify that our refurbished products are in working condition and should last without defects for at least 180 days after purchase. However, this only applies if you purchased from us directly, or from someone else who has our permission to sell our products. If you purchased through an unauthorized seller, we are not able to cover the product under warranty. We also do not provide warranty coverage if you are reselling the lights without permission.
Subject to the terms and conditions below, BlissLights LLC, San Marcos, California, U.S.A 92069 ("BlissLights") warrants to the original retail purchaser that the BlissLights' product (the "Product") will be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 180 DAYS from the date of original retail purchase (the "Limited Warranty"). For purposes of this Limited Warranty, an “original retail purchaser” is an individual or entity who purchases the Product (i) from www.blisslights.com, (ii) through a phone order placed directly to BlissLights, or (iii) from an authorized BlissLights distributor or retailer (an "Authorized Reseller") and with the intent to use the Product for personal consumer use and not with the intent to resell the Product.
Section 2 - Warranty is non-transferable
You can't transfer the warranty from one item to another. If you purchase from an unauthorized seller, it's on an as-is basis with no warranty. You get what you get. Don't know if you're buying from an authorized seller or not? Ask us before you buy.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE OR ASSIGNABLE. IF YOU PURCHASE THE PRODUCT FROM ANY PERSON OR ENTITY OTHER THAN BLISSLIGHTS OR A BLISSLIGHTS AUTHORIZED RESELLER, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS VOID AND THE PURCHASE IS MADE ON AN "AS-IS" BASIS WITH ALL FAULTS.

Section 3 - Warranty exclusions
Our warranty doesn't apply if you lose the product, modify it, break it, or use it incorrectly. We are also not responsible if it is damaged in transit.
The Limited Warranty does not cover or apply to the following:
loss, damage or failure due to alteration, modification or damage to the
Product;
loss, damage or failure due to normal wear, tear, rust, abuse, improper maintenance,
improper installation, improper storage and/or improper use;
the finish on any portion of the Product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this
is
considered normal wear; and/or
loss, damage for failure due to accident, misuse, abuse and/or negligence or any
failure
not relating to defects in material or workmanship.

If you experience a problem with your light, send an email within 30 days to
support@blisslights.com with proof of
purchase and a description of the problem. We
will
help you troubleshoot and determine if your item is defective. If we determine that
your
product is defective, we will send you an RMA form so the defective item can be
returned
to our warehouse and either replaced with a new item or refunded. If the item turns
out
to tampered with or otherwise non-compliant to our warranty terms, your coverage
will be
voided and we will charge you the shipping and handling costs related to your item.
Section 4 - How to submit a warranty claim
If you experience a problem with your light, send an email within 30 days to support@blisslights.com with proof of purchase and a description of the problem. We will help you troubleshoot and determine if your item is defective. If we determine that your product is defective, we will send you an RMA form so the defective item can be returned to our warehouse and either replaced with another refurbished item or refunded. If the item turns out to tampered with or otherwise non-compliant to our warranty terms, your coverage will be voided and we will charge you the shipping and handling costs related to your item.
Within thirty (30) days of discovery of any claimed defect in the Product, you must submit a written description of the alleged defect, and a valid proof of purchase or copy thereof, to BlissLights (the "Warranty Claim") by emailing support@blisslights.com. If BlissLights determines that the returned Product is defective, BlissLights will, within thirty (30) days of its receipt of the Warranty Claim, at its election, either repair or replace the returned Product or refund the purchase price. The determination whether a returned Product is defective shall be made by BlissLights in its sole discretion with consideration given to the overall performance of the returned Product. If BlissLights determines the return Product is not defective, BlissLights may charge for any postage and other handling costs it incurs. Your failure to comply with the aforementioned conditions will invalidate the Limited Warranty and BlissLights shall not have any obligation or liability with respect to the Product.
Section 5 - BlissLights Certified Refurbished items are covered by BlissLights Limited Warranty only
This is the only warranty we will honor for our refurbished products. We do not honor the warranty terms of any other seller (unless your country has laws stating otherwise). If you buy from another seller, you are purchasing the item on an as-is basis. We only offer repair, replacement, or refunds as part of this warranty. The maximum extent of our liability is the price of the product.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED SOLELY ON AN “AS IS” BASIS WITH ALL FAULTS, AND BLISSLIGHTS MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. BLISSLIGHTS HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT OR THE REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES FOR BLISSLIGHTS' BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL BLISSLIGHTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, CONTINGENT, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY DAMAGES THAT YOU MIGHT INCUR FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, WITHOUT ALL DAMAGES REFERENCED HEREIN AND ALL DIRECT OR GENERAL DAMAGES IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, BLISSLIGHTS' ENTIRE AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
Some countries/states may not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties and/or consequential, and, therefore, the exclusions and limitations above may not apply fully to you. The exclusions and limitations above shall apply to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law. If any term is held to be invalid or unenforceable it shall be severed from this Limited Warranty and the remaining terms of this Limited Warranty shall not be affected.
Section 6 - Effective date and modifications
This warranty applies to all refurbished products purchased on or after May 30, 2020. Sometimes we update the terms of the warranty. Those changes go into effect the day they are published.
This Limited Warranty is effective for Products purchased on or after May 30, 2020.
BlissLights reserves the right to modify this Limited Warranty from time to time. Any modification of this Limited Warranty shall be effective for all Products purchased on or after the effective date of such modification.
